Chris Wright
Chris Wright – Director
One of the founders of Qubiq Online, Chris has over 12 years of agency-side market research experience. Besides spending years working with some of the best researchers around, a background in data, IT, fieldwork and programming ensures he has a wide knowledge base covering all areas of the business. He also ensures our projects run like clockwork and is responsible for hiring, firing and finance.
Mat Lintern

Mat Lintern – Managing Director
Mat oversees the research side of the business and is well positioned to do so after working for some of the best client-side and agency-side research businesses over the last 16 years. A real expert in all of our methods, he helped to create many of them himself. As a hands-on director, he always brings plenty of advice and support when designing each study and prides himself on giving thorough and clear debriefs.

 

Mark Sismey
Mark Sismey – Research Director
Mark played a huge part in growing Qubiq Online from its early days and over the last 6 years has fast-tracked through the business and gained a huge amount of market research knowledge. Prior to that he worked client-side, so he also understands what it’s like to be on the other side of the fence.
Susan Morse

Susan Morse – Associate Director
Susie has worked with us for over 6 years and has a great deal of worldwide healthcare and consumer market research knowledge. Prior to this she gained commercial experience working in FMCG and food manufacturing so she understands your business needs, the pressure you are under and what you need to get out of each research project.

 

 

Simon Steer
Simon Steer – Associate Director
Simon spent over ten years as a client-side researcher gaining valuable experience with Scottish & Newcastle, Mars, Whitbread and Dyson. With this background, Simon works hard to ensure our research offering meets the needs of our clients in an increasingly demanding business environment.
Clare Franklin
Clare Franklin – Research Manager
Clare joined the team with a BA Hons in Business Studies; in the last 5 years she's progressed quickly, working across a wide range of clients and research types. These include a lot of pack and concept research for Kellogg's and Innocent, shopper research, U&As on personal care products, financial research for Axa plus a lot of qual (both face to face and online).

 

Anna Exham
Anna Exham – Senior Project Executive
Before joining Qubiq Anna completed her MSc in Reproductive Biology at Imperial College London and spent 18 months at IFF Research. Here the focus was on B2B and public sector research with Anna specialising in financial services, which nicely complemented our existing sector knowledge. She has already made a big impact on the team in her short time here.
José Manuel Martinez

Jose Martinez De V. – Head of Survey Programming
After graduating University in Colombia with a BSc in Computer Science Engineering in 2004, he refined his programming skills at various companies worldwide before moving to the UK in 2007 when he joined us. Then he completed his MSc in Management of ICT at Barcelona in 2009. José has transformed our technical offering, producing most of the techniques you’ve seen in our demos and ensuring our methods are robust enough to work across many different systems and platforms.

 

Clare Jones
Clare Jones – Senior Research Executive
Following on from a stellar University career, Clare is proving herself to be an excellent addition to the team with a real talent for research. She has proven to be very flexible and adaptable, already working with a wide range of clients and subjects and learning the ropes fast.
Jen Dunster
Jen Dunster – Project Executive
After an excellent academic career including a First in Business and Tourism Management, Jen has adapted quickly to agency life, proving her worth across a wide range of industry sectors and rapidly becoming expert in both quant research methods and online focus groups.

 

 

 

David Howlett
Jonathan Oakeley – Senior Project Executive
Jonathan came to us fresh from five years in the murky depths of the corporate entertainment industry. Now, armed with a first class BA from Reading Uni and a wealth of project management experience, he is utilising his many creative talents to add a fresh perspective to our research.
Luke Riley

Luke Riley - Costing Executive
Luke has worked within MMR Group for nearly 4 years now. Before moving into the role of Costing Exec he was a Research Exec heavily involved in a number of UK & global market research studies. Prior to this he had a very diverse working background including the Finance and media industries as well as the Armed Forces.

 

 

Nicole Mayer
Nicole Mayer – Senior Project Manager
With a degree in Physics and Computing Nic worked her way through the ranks in data processing before moving on to programming online surveys for us. Nic has a huge amount of programming knowledge and is always looking at new technologies to ensure we stay one step ahead of the game.
Gareth Whitehead

Gareth Whitehead - Project Manager
Gareth took an interest in programming while getting his first class degree in BSc Maths. Putting theory into practice, he is picking up the principles of market research while utilising his powers of logic, and has made the leap into project work with great enthusiasm.

 

 

 

Mark Sheehan

Mark Sheehan - Project Manager
Having studied sociology at Staffordshire University, he spent the next 7 years working for both large and boutique research companies. He brings his knowledge of how the competition is developing and an enthusiasm for maximising the interviewing capacity of the software we have and how new gadgets and software can be put to use in conducting better surveys.

Jason Espin

Jason Espin - Trainee Survey Creator
Jason joined the team with a BSc Hons in Business Information Technology from Aberystwyth University where he specialised in the development of web and database systems. Since then he has taken to Survey Creation like a duck to water and is already a key part of our survey delivery team.

 

 

Bridget Chatley

Bridget Chatley - Trainee Survey Creator
With a BSc Hons in Maths from the University of Exeter Bridget joined the team in 2011. After graduating Bridget became interested in market research and is using her logical and mathematical abilities to develop her programming skills.

Helen Torrens-Burton

Helen Torrens-Burton - Trainee Survey Creator
Helen graduated Swansea University with a BSc Hons in Maths and after a few months of hard earned travelling, fell into data marketing. Working with SQL and becoming a bit of an eCircle whiz kid, she progressed into programming, wanting to develop her skills towards html, javascript and flash. Helen is a fast learner and already comfortable in her new role in survey creation.

 

James Godfrey
James Godfrey – Solutions Director
With a Masters in Statistics and over 11 years of data analysis and programming experience, James is a bit of a stats guru. He’s mastered all forms of multivariate analysis and is a dab hand at our unique segmentation methodology. As well as providing stats support, James also designs new survey methods and produces very cunning automated reporting tools.
Steve Ferris
Steve Ferris – Head Statistician
Our resident Stats Expert, Steve knows a lot about modelling (data, not catwalks). With the obligatory MSc and PhD Steve has been the brains behind many of our more powerful methods since he joined us in 2001. If by some chance there is something he doesn’t know about, we will ask one of our other stats MScs or PhDs for help.

 

 

David Howlett
David Howlett – Marketing Director
David joined the team after nearly twenty years in sales and marketing across a wide variety of b2c and b2b markets. Having been a customer of research companies for many years he understands what people need from a research project, how research needs to stay relevant and how to deliver exactly what a client needs.
Toby Coates
Toby Coates – Research Director
Toby has over 12 years experience in fmcg consumer research working with major blue-chip companies and small independent businesses alike. With a strong background in design and communication, he uses this creativity to bring research to life. Toby also specialises in our Brandphonics offering - aligning branding, packaging and product communication.
